18 years ago, principals, Lonnie Wilson and Robin Bunnell, purchased a cabin in the remote Colorado mountains. Given the distance from the electric grid, the cost to power the home would have been $60,000. Through research, Lonnie discovered solar electric power. After installing an off grid stand alone solar electric power system for their own cabin, Lonnie and Robin's neighbors were requesting assistance with their homes. Before they knew it, Lonnie and Robin had just started a solar electric business.
